In collaboration with MaC Venture Capital, we are excited to present this year’s Annual Black Blockchain Summit Pitch Competition hosted by Howard University.

The competition will feature pre-selected teams who will have the opportunity to pitch in front of a panel of judges.

Criteria for Application and Eligibility

  • Topic: Using Innovation To Stop Gun Violence.
  • This competition is open to college students with bold, creative ideas that are still in the early stages. Whether you're just brainstorming or have started building a prototype, we want to hear from you.
  • Submissions will be assessed by a panel of judges
  • Participants are required to attend and pitch at the summit in DC
  • Pitch deck required for consideration

Who can apply

  • Open to all college students, regardless of major or student organization
  • Teams can pitch startup concepts or creative ideas (blockchain-related or not)
  • Must complete the official application form (linked via QR code on flyer)

Awards

  • The top 3 teams will receive a monetary prize to support the development of their idea.
  • The winning pitch will be featured in the Black Blockchain Summit Archive and recognized at a special event during the summit in Washington, D.C.
  • All participants will receive up to three free tickets for friends and family to attend the summit.
